Flip Flop???
So in response to what Curt wrote, let me set the facts straight. Earlier today Curt and I were having a conversation and I was studying for my test. At which point the following transgressed.
[13:09] curtis: So your actually trying to study hard eh?
[13:09] T.J.: although it is past 1, I better head to class so I can look at the rocks before I get tested on them
[13:09] T.J.: yea, it'd be nice to get an A in this class
[13:09] curtis: !? Grades are overrated. A gpa means nothing! you told me that.
[13:10] T.J.: gpa is important
In response to those few lines, I did not tell you that gpa means nothing. GPA is big. I will explain below.
[13:10] curtis: Your not backing out of your previous philosophy are you?
[13:10] curtis: FLIP FLOPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[13:10] T.J.: a degree is ultra important
[13:10] T.J.: a gpa is important too
[13:10] curtis: TJ FILP FLOPS TJ FLIP FLOPS TJ FLIP FLOPS.
[13:10] T.J.: but not nearly as important as a degree is
When an employer looks at an application/resume the first thing they will look for is whether or not they have a degree (a.k.a. higher than a high school diploma), you could be the next Nikola Tesla but if you don't have a degree an employer won't even consider you. Now the next thing that the employer will look at is your GPA. A 3.00 or higher GPA is sort of the norm, obviously the higher the better. A degree states to the employer your ability to commit to something and not quit. A GPA states your dedication to that commitment.
13:10] T.J.: I'm no jon kerry
[13:10] curtis: flip flopper.
[13:10] T.J.: now theres a man that can flip flop
[13:10] curtis: you can't even spell his name right.
[13:10] curtis: ...flip flopper
[13:10] T.J.: because he's a fucktard
The rest of the conversation is me saying Kerry is a fucktard and Curt saying I'm a flip flopper. I hope this has shed some light on these false accusations against me. Thank you, and have a nice day.
