Earlier today Curt and I were having a conversation and I was studying for my test. At which point the following transgressed.

[13:09] curtis: So your actually trying to study hard eh?
[13:09] T.J.: although it is past 1, I better head to class so I can look at the rocks before I get tested on them
[13:09] T.J.: yea, it'd be nice to get an A in this class
[13:09] curtis: !? Grades are overrated. A gpa means nothing! you told me that.
[13:10] T.J.: gpa is important

In response to those few lines, I did not tell you that gpa means nothing. GPA is big. I will explain below.

[13:10] curtis: Your not backing out of your previous philosophy are you?
[13:10] curtis: FLIP FLOPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[13:10] T.J.: a degree is ultra important
[13:10] T.J.: a gpa is important too
[13:10] curtis: TJ FILP FLOPS TJ FLIP FLOPS TJ FLIP FLOPS.
[13:10] T.J.: but not nearly as important as a degree is

When an employer looks at an application/resume the first thing they will look for is whether or not they have a degree (a.k.a. higher than a high school diploma), you could be the next Nikola Tesla but if you don't have a degree an employer won't even consider you. Now the next thing that the employer will look at is your GPA. A 3.00 or higher GPA is sort of the norm, obviously the higher the better. A degree states to the employer your ability to commit to something and not quit. A GPA states your dedication to that commitment.

13:10] T.J.: I'm no jon kerry
[13:10] curtis: flip flopper.
[13:10] T.J.: now theres a man that can flip flop
[13:10] curtis: you can't even spell his name right.
[13:10] curtis: ...flip flopper
[13:10] T.J.: because he's a fucktard

The rest of the conversation is me saying Kerry is a fucktard and Curt saying I'm a flip flopper. I hope this has shed some light on these false accusations against me. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Auto Show

At the Auto Show this year there was the usual "sedan" ex. Ford Focus, with a price range of $13k - $25k. There were the "sporty sedans" ex. Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, app. $20k - $30k. And there were the "upper class sedans" ex. anything Jaguar, $40k+. The "Sports Coupes" ex. Ford Mustang, BMW 3 series, ranging from $25k - $50k. But the cars we're interested in are the "sports cars" and the "super ultra mega sports cars" (made up phrase). In the "sports cars" series I'm talking about the BMW Z4, BMW M3, Porsche Boxter, Porsche 911 Carrera, Lotus Elise, Maserati coupe app. $50k - $100k. And finally the "super ultra mega sports cars" which include an Acura NSX (front, rear), Ford GT 40, Porsche Carrera GT (front, front side, rear) now these are nice cars. $100k+.

On another note I also found out that Pontiac has come out with a new internet car.

St. Patrick's Day

Buffering...

(real player required)

The ASSman cometh, as opposed to the BREASTman cometh

Last night I watched Eurotrip. And I saw this "pretty little thing" with a very nice ass. Her name is Michelle Trachtenberg and because of this nice ass shot, I have taken the liberty of hosting a 10 second clip of it for your viewing pleasure. The clip is about 800 kb on server 1 and 2, and about 400 kb on server 3, so even you dialup users can download it. Now I have it on 3 different servers because I only have a 10 mb daily transfer limit on server 1 and 2 and a 3 mb transfer limit on server 3, so if one doesn't work try one of the others. And please do not download it like 8 times in a row this would merely take up that transfer limit and no one else could enjoy it. I have also taken a screen cap of this which is on a different server entirely. Enjoy.

Server 1 Server 2 Server 3 Screencap

HOT SEX WITH HEIDI KLUM!!! Part Deux

As promised I'm about to give a recap of the entire Lutsen experience. First of all its about 4 and 1/2 hours to Lutsen from Minneapolis. So it is a long car ride to do in the dark. Now in the light its a very pretty drive at least once you get beyond Duluth. Anyways we stayed at a place that you can walk out of the motel and ski from which is extremely convenient considering its very clunky to walk in ski boots. The first place we headed over to was Mystery Mountain. Mystery Mountain is nice because it has long runs with a generally low gradient. So its a good mountain to warm up on. After this we headed over to Moose Mountain, but to do this you have to go up to Eagle Mountain and take Bridge run to Moose access. Now moose is the best because its runs are generally long and relatively challenging. We pretty much spent the rest of the day there, with the exception of when we stopped for lunch, and when Lutsen closed. Later that evening my father and I watched "The Terminal", a very good movie but thats a whole other subject. The next day we decided that this polling thing is waaaaaaay too cross country skiing, and we came here to downhill ski, so instead of taking moose access to moose mountain, we took the Gondola. Once again we stayed on Moose Mountain the entire day except for lunch and closing. When they closed we headed for home with a quick stop at Grandmas for supper. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, and its always fun to prove my superiority over snowboarders.

Also scroll down about half way and make some clicks on the right. Its a time when you can take a break from the turmoil's that school brings. For example most people go someplace nice and warm. Like Mexico, at that point they get piss ass drunk and have sex on the beach (the drink). Well let me tell you they are missing out, so far I have spent my entire spring break (although it is just 1 day into it) fixing my car. After taking off the old damaged panel, I spent the next 5 hours sanding my new not damaged panel. Then put the primer on, so tonight it'll be ready for the basecoat. Now doesn't this sound like so much more fun than sex on the beach (the act).

HOT SEX WITH HEIDI KLUM!!!

Now that I've got your attention let me talk to you about a more important subject, what average dogs think about those bitches on dog food bags.

In Progress...

Well it seems that the voting so far is for me to start to title these things. So I thought in order to do a proper Title I'd have to do a little research. According to Dictionary.com a title is many things. Most of them do not concern anything close to a title in this context. But from what I gathered the gist of a title is to give a catchy, interesting and informative opening. So in accordance to that I have thought up a few examples.
Title: Money for Nothing Entry: I stole some money today.
Title: The Great Escape Entry: After stealing the above money, I had to run away, quickly.
Title: Lavas a many splendid things Entry: I put 3 atomic fireballs in my mouth at the same time and my head nearly exploded.
Now even though all of these examples are fake, if one day I decide to do any of these I will have already thought up a catchy, interesting and informative title. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Also 6 people.

This has been a very eventful weekend. On Friday Curt and I played some NCAA 2004 and dominated in the Fiesta Bowl for the National Championship. Then on Saturday I drove my parents to the Food and Wine show in the morning, came home, then Curt and I went down to the Imax Theater at the Zoo. Where we were stunned in glorious 3d of "Aliens of the Deep". I would highly recommend seeing it, and with an added bonus for those of you who have seen "The Abyss" you'll get to greet some familiar creatures. When we returned from there I drove up to my brothers and picked up some desks, cabinets, etc.. Then I drove back home, then back into town to pick up my parents from the Food and Wine show. Like I said very eventful. But check out my new set up in my room.

Finally a show that I like that doesn't get cancelled. BOOYA BEAOTCH!!!

In addition to yesterday's news about my qb's being injured and having to have my Cornerback be my qb. Which is really pissing me off. So I've decided that the best thing to do is abandon the internet all together. You'll never see me on the internet again.

So after spending an hour and a half with asus playing phone tag, my tower was finally working again. So after 44 days without that computer it was resurrected from the dead. At this point I'm pretty pissed off but happy because my tower finally works again. Well I think the reason that my mobo got fried in the first place was a crappy power supply. So I got a bright idea, and since I have a $10 off coupon from unBest Buy I thought I'd head down there and pick myself up a nice Antec power supply. I decided to give Josh a call and see if he wanted to tag along. He did, so I was out door headed to his house. Now while listening to Douglas Adams "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" there is a part where they talk about the improbability machine, that is a machine powered by improbability. Read the chapter if you don't know what I'm talking about. Well at this point I was about 1/2 mile from 92 and I was heading east on 11. At this point a deer darts out from the left side of the street, I immediately slam on my brakes. But at this point its too late, her rear right leg is hit by my bumper and she is gets lifted on to my hood and off to the right, taking my right turn signal and a portion of my front right panel off of the car. At this point I am still slamming on the brakes, and so I pulled into a driveway and got out to inspect my car and see where the deer was. Well my car has seen better days, its fixable, but, the deer unfortunately will not live through the night. Her rear right leg and hip where broke pretty badly as she hobbled away from the sight of the accident.

Its always nice to see the consumer take on back from the faceless corporation.

BULLSHIT

Which brings up another point. And it was a resounding success. Now we did have a few superviseral problems, and someone which will go nameless spilt a little bit of the materials (for the dough) on the counter. But the pizza tasted fantastic. Here's a picture of it. On an even better note, we played NHL HITZ 2003. That game rocks. We had each period set to 3 minutes and so after officially 9 minutes of gametime Dan and Curt usually had over 200 checks between the 2 of them. And since I was the center I usually had 4 or 5 (10 the final game of the tourney) goals in a game. Overall the night was a resounding success. Let us hope that future meetings will be this <------------> (not to scale) much fun.

Let us all have a moment of silence for Lokitorrent. Reread the below but replace Dan with Josh.

Last night Dan, Adam and myself played some Rise of Nations online. (Using the direct ip connect feature) So after playing for about 40 minutes Adam started to attack Dan. And it seemed like Adam was winning. But at about 45 minutes the overture of 1812 started to play the climax of the song. That was my cue to start. For the remainder of the song (about 2 minutes) I bombarded Adam with Nuke's taking out his entire base, then I moved in and captured all of his towns thus eliminating him. Then in fowl swoop I turned towards Dan and repeated the same process. Overall I'd say they were both destroyed within 10 minutes of the first attack on them. It was a very fun and enjoyable game. My motherboard died exactly 1 week before the lan party. But I was gone that week so it was of little concern. Well when I got back I immediately sent an email to asus technical support. To which I got a response from some guy from Beijing. He basically told me to do everything that I had already done, but since he didn't seem to grasp the english language I cut him a break and basically disregarded his entire reply. But he did provide me with one important piece of information, the web address for RMA. So after filling out that form and sending it in. I waited 6 days with no reply to my gmail account. Then this last Friday I finally decided I'd call up Asus and see what the hell was going on. While on hold I thought, what the hell I'll check my email just to see if they sent me anything. Turns out gmail put the RMA reply email in the "spam" folder. It had been there for 4 days. So to my knowledge gmail's spam filter is really good. Except when you want to get a very critical email. Then I came to the conclusion that it is still beta, so they have a few things to work out.

Now whats really intersting is that google, owns blogger. And when doing a spell check of this document it flagged every occurance of gmail. "Hello right hand, this is the left hand, I take it you've never met."

I just wanted to announce that in the last 24 hours I have "obtained" over 5.79 gigs in Battlestar Galactica. You can play XXXXXX game on your own time.

There will be NO online play at this lan. Now unBest Buy is selling it for $50. Ebgames is selling it for $30. Now the Ebgames at ridgedale is out of stock. So I went online and printed off the page from Ebgames saying it was $30. I brought that with me to unBest Buy, and when I got to the register I showed them the page. So he went and talked to his manager. After about 3 minutes the cashier returned and said that they would not match it. I asked why, he said some bullshit, so I said "fuck it", and I left. So in accordance with that I believe unBest Buy should change its "110% price guarantee" to "110% price circumstantial as in when its good for us, like we'll match if its within $1.84 of our price, but a $20 drop in price, HELL NO, so why don't you take your business elsewhere". Lets begin with the good. Many good things occurred during 2004, so lets start at the top. At the beginning of the year Dan designed his lovely chat thing which seems to get little use nowadays, but it still was a very good idea. Knights of the Old Republic, its nice to have a return to some great RPG roots. Mars is finally being explored. Gmail the worlds largest free email service is launched. The idea of Chickfax (patent pending). Two very fun trips to the Mall of America. Now for some good dvd's / video games / movies / Tv shows: Return of the King extended edition is released, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" collectors edition, Rise of Nations, Halo 2, Half life 2, Doom 3, The Village, Spiderman 2, and the glorious return of FarScape in FarScape the Peacekeeper Wars.

Now for the bad. George Lucas makes even more changes to the original Star Wars, when will he learn, HE'S A DUMBASS!! Now please bow your head for a moment of silence for Techtv and Suprnova ........................ FUCK YOU G4 AND THE RIAA.

And to finish things off, the ugly. The Ice Palace. After waiting in the cold for hours, the ice palace was a huge disappointment.

Well 2004 was a hell of a year, lets just hope that 2005 is filled with as many goodtimes as 2004 was.

Happy New Year!

Considering that its raining out right now, my prediction is that on May 1st we have a blizzard that drops 14 inches of snow on us.

On a happier note, or sadder depending on how you look at it. I beat Half Life 2. Although I did cheat every now and then. By now and then I mean everytime I saw a barnicle, I'd turn on god, and no clip, fly up, shoot the living fuck out of it with my shotgun, then return back to my position. I hate barnicles. For those of you that don't know what a barnicle is, they are those red things that hang from the ceiling with there tongue hanging down to the floor. As for a review of the game.

Graphics: 10/10 Graphics nicely done, I'd say on par with DOOM 3.
Sound: 9/10 I have a wonderful 5.1 system and it did nicely on it. I knocked off a point because it was crackly every now and then. A good soundtrack, not great but good. I'd give the better soundtrack to Halo.
A.I.: 9/10 The combine especially where pretty good at flanking, and trying to out fox you.
Team A.I.: 8/10 Solid team A.I. but I still had the feeling that without me they wouldn't know there elbow from there ass. Unlike Call of Duty where I didn't need to fight at all, your fellow teammates could win the war without you.
Story: 9/10 A good story that brings you into the Half Life world. Only problem I had was that it lacked that "epic" feel that you get with a game like Halo.
Overall: 9/10

I have just returned from seeing "The Polar Express" in IMAX 3D. WOW! Absolutely fabulous. First of all the movie itself was a very good movie, very well animated, very good musical score, and most of all it was a fun movie to see. On top of all of that it was in 3D. Now a word to the wise, in order to get the full experience it would probably be best to sit in the middle. We got there about 30 minutes early. That wasn't early enough. By the time we got there we had to sit in the top right corner, which did cause some double image to occur during points of the movie. If this doesn't win some technical award at the Oscars I'm going to be pissed.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I'd like to wish Valve a very un-fucking-merry christmas. I'm not a canidate for a hybrid car. Today on my way home I was cruising along going 60 rapidly gaining on this car in front of me. Now at this point we had been on a relative straight away for about 2 miles and the car in front of me was showing no signs of accelerating. I had to slow down to 45mph in a 55, which is really annoying not going the speed limit. I thought I'd give this car (it was a Prius) the benefit of the doubt and say "oh they're just not paying attention, they'll pick up there speed here any minute". So after about 2 miles of this 45 mph crap we came to a stop sign. The road was clear so the car in front of me slowly accelerated across the street. I idled up to the stop sign, checked both ways, I had to wait for a car, then was on my way. Now normally this would give a gas powered car more than enough time to get to at least 55 mph. Well I step on the gas and head across the street and in no time flat I'm going 35 mph following this slowly accelerating piece of shit car. I can't wait any longer so I step on it to pass the car. I bet I passed that car so fast the guy driving it got out to see if he was moving. In no time flat I'm up to a nice cruising speed of 62 mph leaving that other car in the dust. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for getting 50 mpg, but at what cost? If the cost is that it takes 3 miles to get up to 55 mph then fuck no, I'll stick with my 20 mpg giant of a gasoline engine car thank you very much.

Its been 6 months since PCI Express has been out and I have not been impressed with this supposed agp killer. Mainly because I just returned from Ocean's 12. Overall it was a very good movie, and it will keep you guessing until the very end, and even then there could be more to come. Even with the huge cast I think the best moments of the film are when Casey Afleck and Scott Caan are bickering over menial things. (In the film they play brothers) Is it worth the full $6.50 price of admission? In my opinion, yes. But if you're a cheap bastard go to a matinee, or if you're an even cheaper bastard wait 5 years and it'll be on nbc.

Last night I watched the movie "Dodgeball". During this we played some NCAA Football 2005 and we found something out about Josh. He sucks at football. On defense he would get offside calls about every 3rd play. On offense he would take over the receiver while the ball was in the air, causing the pass to be incomplete. So not only did Curt and I have the other team to deal with, but we also had Josh. Now he does have a valid excuse for part of it. Since the player you select has a color around it, he said he was having a hard time distinguishing yellow and orange. Yellow being Curt, and Orange being himself. In the end we still won and the Minnesota Golden Gophers prevailed, and with any luck Texas lost.

Would somebody with electrical know-how explain to me why my headphones died? Don't be fooled, its still called the Screensavers, but its now Pulse. Kevin and Sarah are the only people left from the Screensavers. Yoshi, Dan, Joshua, Alex, all fired. So I decided to read into this, they also canned Unscrewed, and Fresh Gear. So now the only remaining shows from the original techtv are Xplay, and The screensavers, which is no longer the screensavers that I knew.

I found the below about a fan that attended the last unscrewed airing.

"I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Ok, well that's not true.... the sad fact of the matter is that since this merger, or more appropiately deemed "conglomerate corporate buy out" between G4 and Tech TV all of our favorite Tech TV celebs and shows have been getting the axe.. including programs that had been with us since the dawn of ZDTV! (Remember those days?) When I first heard of Comcast / G4 buying out Tech TV the first thing I thought is "uh oh.. Unscrewed is toast..." but alas they fooled us and lulled us all into a false sense of security. And now, just after Laura, Marty, Joey, & the crew moved from San Francisco to LA, evil G4 pulls out the rug from under us all. My dad and I are long time fans of Marty's.. back from his Screen Saver days til now and we've literally seen EVERY episode of Unscrewed. Living in the LA area, we attended the last show taping.. as well as hung out w/ the gang at the bar after the show. This thread's purpose is to share that experience with all you loyal fans who deserve to hear about Unscrewed's sunset.. as well as to clear up a few things other threads on this forum were questioning.

First the sad answer to the main question: Yes Unscrewed has been cancelled by the evil G4 empire. There was some speculation because not much 'proof' was delivered other than moblog pics.. but it's true. Some of you may have read another thread of ours about Laura Swisher being interviewed for and appearing in the pages of Draculina magazine which we write for. We wanted to do the story up big, lending lots of publicity for the show but the G4 publicist continued to decline our request (despite the fact we'd MET Laura at a taping and she said she was interested) stating that G4 couldn't appear in a publication which had mild nudity... (uh.. Girls Gone Wired.. cam whores.. etc etc..?!?!) Now we find out the real truth why G4 didn't want any publicity for the show. When I spoke to Laura last night at the show taping about all of this she informed me that she wasn't even told that we'd contacted the publicist to pursue the interview and wasn't aware that we'd been told no. It seems G4 had Unscrewed's death warrant planned out. We wanted to thank all of you fellow members of the Unscrewed Army for your posts, votes, emails, and support. I talked to Laura and informed her that the story could still be done on HER as opposed to plugging G4 and she said she will be contacting me... so it may still be in the works. All you Swish fans, keep your fingers crossed!

Now onto the taping of the last show and the send off at the bar after. Everyone at the last show taping was informed that 'it was going to be a very special show' but the G4 crew still never let the cat out of the bag that the show had been canned. A small number of us had heard and knew already, but for the most part they were playing dumb. It was announced that the G4 dignitaries would be in the studio (whoopty friggin doo) and many Tech TV (and G4) personalities participated as members of the studio audience including Kevin, Sarah, Dan (Foo), Alex, Yoshi, etc. The show began as normal but there was definitely something in the air.. and that was validated by Marty's many on camera inside bitter jokes and cutting cracks aimed directly at G4. (We Love You Marty!) It was expressed to us later that evening by some crew and Joey that it was almost 99% definite that this episode will NEVER see the light of day and will not be aired on G4 because of all of the anti-G4 cracks, innuendos, bitter-ness, and strong language. Thus, the last episode, which explains it's demise in the Unscrewed fashion, may never be seen... so let me take this opportunity to tell you about it... CAUTION: Spoilers below in bold!

Marty opened the show with a G4 audience jab "Helloooo Gamers!" in a slightly high sarcastic voice. (This is not to say there's anything wrong with gamers or gaming but unfortunately G4 has decided to overtake the tech / computer side of Tech TV with gaming.. thus dividing the tech culture and pitting techies against gamers. Sad really...) From the very opening of the show to the end there was assorted inside jokes and jabs at G4 from Marty's innuendos of lowly third tier cable studios which are destined to be shut down and go dark to mentions of how he should steal a printer as a 'momento' from the show. But the king of slams came at the high crest of the show.. the finale where Marty said his goodbye. During the last segment of the show, following one of their long running gags, Marty made a call to celebrity Michael Cain. During this call 'Michael Cain' stated that he's noticed that Unscrewed hasn't been as good since the change to G4 occurred and that they don't seem to be having as much fun as they used to. (At this slam we started cheering, hooting, and hollering in the audience for the pro-Tech TV comment.. at which time we received the dirtiest b*tch look you could imagine from a G4 camera opperator.) Then Michael Cain suggested that Marty should leave Unscrewed and come live with him on his yacht / estate / etc. Marty asked if he could bring the Swish... then he asked if he could bring Joey the intern.. Ricky Kang... The Ambassador of Gay.. as they all made their way onto set behind Marty. As Michael Cain said "SURE" Marty bid farewell to the Unscrewed Army and said he was off to live in luxury with Michael Cain... during this process he gave a heart felt thank you, salute, and a long sincere look into the camera as he bid farewell to all of us who loved the show so...

The end of the show was very climatic and very emotional... such a shame that the rumor is it'll never be seen. Thus the finale of Unscrewed came to an end and filming was wrapped. Marty came forth and thanked the audience for coming and for all their support. Everyone filtered out as Marty and Laura stuck around to meet everyone, take pics, and sign things. Where did things go from here? Well.. when he said "see you at the bar..." he really did mean it. The Unscrewed cast & crew met up at a bar (as they did nightly) for a little after-drink.. needless to say last night was a little bit more special and a bigger deal than usual.

We made our way to the bar where we were welcomed by everyone we'd met from the Unscrewed battalion. Everyone was great and there was many emotions running rampant varying from sadness to bitterness. We spent most of the night talking to Joey and Marty... who both ROCK. All that can be said is, as a fan of Unscrewed, whatever you imagine the gang would be like at an after party... they definitely were. It was a great experience and something any fan would've enjoyed.. and in a way we felt like we were representing the Unscrewed fans by being there. Throughout the night we found out some interesting facts you guys deserve to know...

*First of all, Unscrewed was NOT cancelled due to poor ratings or low viewing numbers. It was taken off the air because that was G4's plan. They bought Tech TV simply to get it's viewership and some of it's properties. Since taking it over they've assimilated Tech TV, stripped it, stolen it's soul, and turned it into all gaming all the time.. so basically they bought Tech TV, killed it, and turned it into G4.

*This is backed up subtle changes that you could notice even around the studio. When we went to our first Unscrewed taping in LA, the sign on the door said "G4 / Tech TV Studios".. now it just reads "G4 Studios". Why you may ask? In January the station will be doing a re-launch and then will cease to be known as G4 Tech TV and will simply be G4. Yes, Tech TV, for all intensive purposes, is gone...

*In addition to Unscrewed being killed, The Screen Savers is also being altered. After today's taping of TSS, the studio will go dark until they start filming again... and when they do, TSS will be very different, if even recognizable. From what I heard they are basically merging Pulse and TSS. Many cast members from G4's Pulse will be taking a spot on the show and what hosts from the current / old school TSS will be left is debateable. I've heard Kevin and Sarah are staying.. but then again Unscrewed was supposedly in the clear too. As for anyone else, it's up in the air. Also, it was speculated from different sources that the title may be changed.

*Completing the raping and pillaging of Tech TV, while Unscrewed WAS cancelled, it is also rumored that one of G4's "new and original series" to be debuting soon will be entited "GIRLS GONE WIRED".. yes you heard right. Cancel the show it came from and then steal the segment.. really classy. :-(

Everyone from Unscrewed and Tech TV alumni are very upset at the recent happenings.. whether they still have their jobs or not. Joey was a riot at the bar and insisted that "It's not over! IT'S NOT OVER!" Marty had the same thing to say. Since Unscrewed was Marty's brain child to begin with, hopeful chances are that a similar show w/ a diff. name will be picked up by a network somewhere with Marty and his gang at the helm. We can all hope.. and of course keep rallying behind them! I'm sorry, but the highlight of the night was still when someone (who I won't divulge the name of.. but no it's probably not who you're thinking) stood up and yelled "F**k G4".. They've hurt us loyal Tech TV viewers so much that I have to agree I really couldn't have expressed a better sentiment myself. At the end of the night as we left the bar and said our final goodbyes Marty repeatedly thanked us for our loyalty, support, and for watching his show. Despite the fact that it was a joy for us (and is for most Unscrewed fans) he could not let us go without expressing his love and gratitude. Never have I met a man who seemed so sincere when it came to expressing his appreciation and his love for the show and fans... that sentiment is something that I carry with me and hopefully convey to all of you, as I'm sure he'd like to thank each and every viewer if he could've.

We can keep our fingers crossed for a bright future for Marty, Laura, Joey, and the gang... and hopefully we'll see an Unscrewed Jr. pop up on some station somewhere soon, but if not then it was a great journey and one that won't be forgotten. The sad fact is that G4 was and IS power hungry, so they simply bought Tech TV to get what it could out of it.. and in the process stole OUR station. They've assimilated it into one big station with all gaming all the time.. and honestly where would gaming be without computers today? There has to be some kind of balance.. but that doesn't seem to register with them. In their corporate money grubbing scheme of things, all their seeing is dollar signs as some 30 - 40 year old station heads in stuffy suits try to guess what the youth of America wants... which in itself is narrow minded because Tech TV served ALL ages, while G4's demographic is ages 13 to mid-30s... even station veteran Leo LaPorte who we all knew and loved was let go because he wasn't young and trendy enough. What a bunch of bunk. In conclusion, if you're a gamer and you want all gaming, all the time, and no tech.. then welcome to your mecca.. but if you're a veteran Tech TV fan, love the tech side of it all, or are into PC's or aspects of the tech world OTHER than just video games then you might as well leave this site now because G4 doesn't want us around anymore... I know that my family for one is a household they won't have to worry about entertaining with their station anymore.

As the night ended and we drove away to remembrances of Joey & Marty's pledges "It's not over" we felt a little better and filled with some hope.. I hope so guys.. I hope so!

RIP Unscrewed.. and really, RIP Tech TV!"

If you would like to hear Leo leportes thoughts click here for an mp3.

So after summing everything up, it seems to me that g4 bought techtv for Xplay, then decided to axe everything else. I don't know about you but I never plan on watching that channel again.

Check this out http://www.lordoftherings.net/homevideo/frame_special_dvd.html?NoMansExtndCut. I immediately shut down the computer and opened up the case. At that point I took back out my old case and power supply and regutted the computer and put it back into its original case. I wonder if they ever say "I can't deal with this shit today" and then go home. I could go on but I'll spare you that shit.

On a less shitty note, Half Life 2 has been cracked, and the crack is readily available online. I think we need to play this come the 27th, considering we'll have less than 8 people so we can all play at the same time. According to many websites and corporations half life 2 comes to store shelves tomorrow. According to me, I'll believe it when I see it in my hands and working on a computer. And yes that is a "diss" to the people at Valve and Sierra. They've delayed the game so long that I have only a fraction of the excitement that I should. Overall I think I'm more excited for the eventual release of Halo 2 for the pc.

26 items. 26-8=18. Thats how many items the lady in front of me IN THE EXPRESS LINE had over the limit. The story begins with me getting home from college and being hungry. First I reached for the milk and cereal, but I remembered that I finished the milk last week. So I decided to take a trip to the grocery store to buy some milk. When I reached the grocery store I walked back grabbed a gallon of milk and began walking towards the register when I began to smell the aroma of chicken. I've had these chicken before, they are of a quality brand (Gold 'n' Plump), and cheap, $5.49 for a whole, cooked, and seasoned chicken, so I thought hey that'll work. I picked one up and was on my way to the register. Now the lines were semi long and since I had 2 items I qualified for the tried and true express lane. There were only 2 people in front of me, one of them almost done. Then the lady from hell with her 26 items in the limit of 8 express lane gets up there. 3 minutes and $123.15 in groceries later all her items are scanned. Then for the last thrust, she writes a check. So now its my turn, 1 chicken, 1 gallon of milk. $8.62....cash....30 seconds I'm out of the store. I think the express lane should be outlawed for the general public, they're too stupid to follow a big ass sign posted right above the cash register.

As you are all aware of every computer problem must get worse before it can get better. Well this story begins sometime Sunday night with a call from me to Josh. During this conversation I mention that I have a spare motherboard just laying around collecting dust, that I would be willing to sell to him for cheap. His current motherboard doesn't exactly support his processor so usually once or twice a day it would just randomly reboot. This gets annoying over time, I experienced this myself about a year ago. So yesterday around 12:30 in the afternoon he walks out to the kitchen computer in hand and says its time to gut his computer. So we began by swapping his current mobo to his other case and putting in my old mobo. Everything was looking good. We started with the old mobo, now we figured that it wasn't going to boot up because we were going from an intel chipset to a via chipset. Sure enough it didn't work but we were able to fix it by around 5. We then moved onto the new mobo. After about 20 blue screens of death and 7 hours we had gotten nowhere. So at around 2:00 a.m. we decided to try again tomorrow. After I got back from class at around 4:00 he had simply reformatted the drive and everything seems to be working. So at one point we had a lovely 20 pound paper weight.

Last night I went and saw "The Incredibles". In his concession speech, Nader characterized Bush and Kerry as spoilers.

As well as this little gem, here.

I think I've finally lost it, I just realized that I've spent $80 in the last 2 weeks on mice. Mind you though they are the Cadillacs of mice. The one I have right now is the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer version 2, and the one I just ordered is the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer version 3. They are extremely comfortable mice to use, and with the addition of the 2 side buttons makes surfing the web a breeze. Now I realize that Microsoft has released the Intellimouse Explorer 4, but that has "tilt wheel", and because of that they couldn't have the wheel have "clicks" which I need those "clicks", otherwise I'll go insane, kind of like posting about the absurdity of buying mice.

We just got done watching "Super Size Me", wow is that an eye opener. Now I had heard from Peter (my sisters husband) that Sams has very cheap alcohol. So naturally we go check it out. Now ever since seeing the Big Lebowski I've always wanted to try a white russian. Well at Sams they didn't have any premade ones and they didn't have an Kahula. So we headed over to Cashwise. So after looking for a while they indeed had premade up white russians. So we picked up that, some brandi and a bottle of coke. Since I'm only 20, Geeno went to the counter to pay for it. When he got there the lady asked to see both of our I.D.'s. Since I was not 21 she said she couldn't sell it to us. So we left a little wiser than we had entered. We then traveled virtually across the street to another liquor store, and this time only Geeno went in and picked up the "boos". So the lesson to be learned is "send in the 21 year old, and the younger people remain at the car".

P.S. It seems like at the next lan we will be playing Half Life 2, The release date that I've heard is November 23rd. Which if we were to have a Thanksgiving lan Half life 2 would be available. I think that Adam, Bryan, Dan, DD, Josh and myself need to get together and do a sort of nostalgia lan sometime with the original computers. That way we can spend 90% of the time reformating either DD's computer or Bryan's. Although the sad part of that is of my original computer components the only things left in use (and/or in working condition) are the case (which has been moded since the original lan's), the ram, and keyboard. Lets look at a checklist:
40 gig HD - Dead
Shuttle Ak31 motherboard - Thought of as dead
Amd Athlon 1400+ - Dead
Teac 12x12x32 cdrw - Working in parents computer
Voodoo3 2000 16mb - Working in Village Church computer
2 256 pc 2100 ram - Working in current computer
Lovely Beige case - Working in/is current computer
300 Watt Generic PSU - Dead
Microsoft mouse - Sold to DD
Compaq Presario Windows 3.1 keyboard - In glorious full working order
Gateway 2000 17" monitor - Working at sisters house

After looking at that list I've come to realize that I've lost a lot of good friends since 2001.

I think I found a Battlefield killer. Now the return envelope said in the corner "Please put stamp here". So we began thinking, how hard is if for them to put "postage paid" in the corner, which brings us to the point where we began scheming on how to send it back to them for free. Instead of using the real bill we made up a fake letter and put it in an envelope. We thought that if it didn't have a stamp they would return it to the sender. So we put the apartment address in the corner and put Josh's home as the send to address. Now the final touch was taking a glue stick and putting that in the corner where a stamp normally would be, as to fool them and think the stamp fell off. I got a call from Adam today wondering what this letter in the mail was. So I explained the situation and through this discovered how to send mail absolutely free.

I just got done watching Shaun of the dead. I'll get you caught up on what happened. Last night around 8:00 the internet stopped working, so as usual I walked over to Josh's room and asked if his internet was working to which he replied no. So we then did the usual release, renew for the router and it usually works. Not tonight, you see earlier that day I thought of being a good little computer user and updating the firmware on the router. Well in this case the release renew did nothing, the internet was still down. So we plugged Josh directly into the cable modem, just to see if it was a Charter problem or a local problem. It was a local problem, we then figured it must be a router problem considering it worked before the firmware update. So with him directly connected to the modem and me snurching wireless off of the neighbor, spent the next 2 hours trying to find some old firmware for my router. Well its a Microsoft router so they don't keep any outdated firmware on there site because they're a bunch of morons. After 2 hours of reading I read somewhere to just unplug them both at the same time and then plug them back in. So I walked over to the router and modem, unplugged them, plugged them back in and the internet worked. In fact it has been working better than it was before the update since I did that. I guess with microsoft products you just have to wait for 3 blue screens of death and then it'll work fine.

On Saturday I attempted to do a deep water barefoot start. Here is a link to what it looks like from a boom. Now with a boom you are about 5 feet away from the boat, with a deep water start I was 75 feet away from the boat and in 63 degree water. Basically deep water starts entitle you to intentionally drown yourself until you get on a plane. Even though you get on a plane in about 1 second, it seems like an eternity to not being able to breath. Then theres the water up nose factor, which I still am talking like I have a full sinus. So theres a lesson to be learned here....when doing a deep water start, don't, you're just asking to get injured.

Josh pointed this out to me last night, talk about a blast from the past. I'll get you caught up on whats happening. On Wednesday (Sept 8) I walked into class and found a comfortable place in the back row. So class starts and we do stuff and towards the end of class, last 5 minutes, we have a group activity to do. 2-4 people, so its me, her, and 2 other guys. We complete the assignment hand it in and we're on our merry way. Skip forward to Friday. So today when class starts she is already seated (the room is set up with tables that stretch across the room) and so when I sit down I simply say, "How are you?" or something along those lines. She replies with the natural small talk answer. Now this is in my meteorology class and the teacher is a fricken comedian, he's the most cynical person I have ever met, and if you know me, I'm extremely cynical, well he puts me to shame. So throughout the class whenever he makes a funny comment we briefly share a laugh and secondary comment with each other. Class ends, zoom to next week Monday. The usual occurs with the small talk and comments, but this time at the end of class we walk out of class in the same direction and exchange comments in the hallway until we part ways outside of the building. This process repeats itself until Friday when after class we don't part ways at the building but continue to walk towards the dorms (I have to go get Mike) and through some conversation she tells me she's going to have fun staring at the wall this weekend when she's not with her boyfriend. About 10 seconds later she turns to take a different route as I always walk through the performing arts center because thats where the only good drinking fountain is. We depart with "Have a nice weekend" "you too". Its times like that, that I wish all women had signs posted on there heads that said "Single/Have boyfriend".

I believe this proves that George Lucas is a dumbass. 2004 DVD changes with pictures.

I just had an invigorating nostalgia experience with the game Star Trek:Borg. Fill the 5 gallon jug up to the top. Pour into the 3 gallon jug until it is now full, leaving 2 gallons in the 5 gallon jug. Empty the 3 gallon jug. Now pour the remaining 2 gallons of the 5 gallon jug into the 3 gallon jug. Fill the 5 gallon jug up. Now pour the 5 gallon into the 3 gallon leaving (remembering that it already has 2 gallons in it) so you have essentially taken 1 gallon away from the 5 gallon, leaving you with 4 gallons of water.

I'm guessing by the end of the decade satellites are going to fall out of the sky into your backyard. Another one bites the dust.

I'm now officially moved into the apartment.
